Isabella's 1st birthday - August 21, 2010

Jen and Tim had Isabella's 1st birthday party at EdVenture Children's Museum. Jen and Bella visit EdVenture often, so it was a familiar venue for the party. (Mom flew in from Wisconsin on the 18th to spend some time with us and to be here for the party!) Once the guests arrived, we had a birthday parade through the museum. We had lots of “musical” instruments to choose from, and the object was to make as much noise as we could! The parade ended with Bella sitting in the Birthday Chair as we sang “Happy Birthday” to her. Next, we returned to the party room for cake, ice cream, and present opening. We had a great time. Happy Birthday, Isabella!

Isabella is walking!

I took this video the first weekend in August.  We were at EdVenture Children's Museum and Bella was enjoying a shopping trip at the Piggly Wiggly Exhibit there.  She had just started walking; she's a pro at it now (a few weeks later).
